  1. how can an 8-week old puppy be ready to be euthanized???? This is outrageous! He has his entire life ahead of him, and can easily be trained. I just rescued my pup and don't have room for another, but please think about adopting one of these gorgeous dogs.

  2. Where are these dogs at, what pound? There is no info provided for people wanting to save one by getting it out!! To say they will die and leave out what pound EACH are at is ridiculous. Help these poor dogs by making it EASY for individuals to help them DIRECTLY, they can pay the pound fee and have sterilization & vaccines done themselves. No need to do it through a rescue group. Pass the word, yes--but don't make it so difficult.

  3. They are placed through organizations to ensure responsible placements, and that they are sterilized. Otherwise there is no way to ensure either, and therefore it could contribute to the 'problem' instead of solution.

Also it is much, much cheaper to pay the adoption fee than doing it on your own.

Also we do not have more information that this, as this information is from another organization other than Eleven Eleven.

If you think this is a Scam then take a second to see through our success stories. Or better yet past sponsor an animals (special cases), here http://www.elevenelevenanimalrescue.org/Sponsor_an_Animal__Past.html

*All of these dogs are safe and have been rescued.

  4. They are ALL safe? Great! But how sudden the problem was solved. Please tell us, at least, where they went, what rescue has them in safety. Every time Paws for Life does this, all of a sudden the situation changes and they never say what happened. Nor responds to concerned people. Where do these dogs go? Are they shipped to Ontario rescues? Thing is, people get worried & all of a sudden dogs are no longer in danger, it is odd. I do not believe it is a scam but over & over this happens, the danger is people will no longer respond thinking their help is not needed. Yes, rescue groups are the best to get dogs from, but you negate the intelligence of good people who WILL go to a pound to save an animal and who will sterilize and vaccinate and be a great dog protector. Sometimes we see a dog in need and we want to help THAT dog, if we can afford it and are responsible, why should we be kept from knowing where these dogs are? We are not puppy millers, nor looking for a bargain dog, just a dog in need of love & protection. And yes, we fully understand the importance of sterilization--but we want to do something on our own as a commitment to a specific needy dog. Are we not good enough to save a life too? Please, to not say what pound to PROTECT the dog from us, possibly letting him die first rather than have us find out where to go to save him, does that not seem carrying "protection" too far? To let a dog die first? To me, that is not rescue. But I am glad the dogs are safe.

  5. Caroline--My friends have been trying for at least 3 months to foster and have never heard anything back from you guys. They told me they've written emails and no one ever responds. What is the best way to get in touch?!
