New Arrival - Fleabag

This lovely little lady was found wandering the streets! She was rescued by our exotics rescue lady herself and seen by a vet asap. She is skinny as can be, so was probably roughing it out there for a decent amount of time. Not to mention was covered in fleas, hence her name. She is a little sick, and getting meds. But will be completely healthy in no time. She is a doll, and a survivor. Now all she needs is to find a home who will for once, cherish her.

"Tiny" the Brown Anole

"Tiny" is a young Brown Anole (pronounced "ah-NO-lee") lizard (Norops sagrei), who accidentally hitchhiked here in someone's luggage. Stressed out and dehydrated from her unexpected voyage, Eleven Eleven took her in and now she's doing great!

RUFUS & BECKIE the two Cockatiels moved into Foster Care!

Update: Rufus and Beckie have been moved into foster care.
Rufus checked out great at his vet exam, but poor Beckie was discovered to have a horrible skin infection and an impacted preen gland. She is missing over half her feathers, there is no way to know which came first the feather picking or the infection... hopefully when we clear up the infection she'll be able to grow back her feathers... only time will tell. She's on the mend now but it will be a long road until she has completely recovered. Good luck Beckie & Rufus!!!

New Arrival - Shayo the angry bun

Cross your fingers everyone! Shayo a rabbit brought in to one of our affiliated clinics to be euthanized for aggression, has been placed in what seems to be an excellent foster home. They're intention is to adopt... if they can break through his angry facade and teach him how to be a lovey bunny. From what I hear... so far so good!

New Arrival - Rabbit saved from being snake food!

Meet Snake: After placing Shayo in foster care the foster family stopped off to buy a cage from someone off Kijji. Shortly after I received an urgent email advising us that the women selling the cage was so distressed about not being able to find a new home for her rabbit, she was considering giving him to someone who offered to take him, but to feed him to his snake!
Even if it was just a threat we couldn't take the chance, we got the poor bun out of there a.s.a.p!!! It seems the reason for the adoption was that the woman had developped allergies. In an attempt to reduce allergens in her home... this unfortunate bunbun was shaved! The woman was extremely lucky that she didn't cut through the skin, something that happens to easily when shaving rabbits.

Hopefully, a warm and loving home can see through the funny haircut and give this boy a loving, forever home!

Hehe... I've named him Snake, I'm sure this will be changed in his new home but I thought this was a good boy name aside from his story.

NEWTON - Hedgehog for adoption

We now have a very cute 2 year old little hedgehog for adoption. He came to us because his owners no longer had the time to devote to him. This little boy is quite special, once he un-rolls he gives kisses! Not the usual kiss, kiss, kiss, BITE hedgies are known for, real kisses and lots of them! He's too sweet. DAISY CUTIE - NEW RABBIT FOR ADOPTION

We have a new addition to the Eleven Eleven family! Daisy Cutie is 2 year old Holland Lop weighing in at approximatly 6lbs. She found her way to us because one of the children in her original home developpped a severe allergy to her. The child ended up at the hospital a couple of times before the parents found us. It was a very hard decision for the entire family, but a necessary one. It was too the point had they not found a place for her they would have had to euthanise her, so we came to the rescue! Adopted January 17th, 2010

This little budgie was found in a snowbank on the 23rd of December. He spent a lonely Christmas at a veterinary clinic. However, today the lucky boy arrived at his new forever home. he now has a million birdy toys, a huge new cage, and will soon have a baby brother to chat with!

Rescued bunny!

We saved an adorable bunny from being euthanized this week after her owner became allergic and brought the rabbit at only just over a year old to be euthanized. SAVED, now is in a great foster home and looking for a new loving home to see reciprocate her buckets of love for the rest of her life. Pictures will be up soon!

Exotic Animals Week (Apparently)!

THIS WEEK: Apparently is Exotic Animal Week! We rescued a little bunny girl from being euthanized because her owner became allergic and then brought her to a clinic to put her down. We also saved a Red Footed Tortoise with a prolapsed cloaca, now under treatments and still waiting to see if she will come around. Last but not least we have an adorable little blue budgie for adoption as well!

URGENT! Baby mice need foster homes to save them from being snake food!!!

We need foster homes for 14 baby mice that were born after the common miss sexing of the pet store, along with another female being pregnant. 

If these mice do not find foster homes/homes they will have be humanely euthanized, in order to prevent them from becoming snake food.
