Dewey had a blast today at what he refers to as 'Dewey day!' - He made a whole lot of new friends and could not get enough of soaking up all the love and attention. He is now sleeping like a stone, and would like to say a huge THANK YOU for all the support. We had a great turn out and cut a lot of nails to raise money for Dewey's surgery. But well worth it, just being able to see him goof around and be a normal, happy, mischievous puppy.For those of you who do not know Dewey; he is a 3 month old puppy whose elbow was broke while being punished for having an accident in the house. Because of the extent of damage and location of the break (through the growth plate) he needed specialized orthopaedic surgery. He was surrendered to Eleven Eleven an had the surgery February 19th, which went fantastic!
We are also excited to announce Dewey has been reserved by an amazing adoptive home. He is looking forward to going to the new home very soon. He can not wait to join his new family!
