Update: BAMBI (now PENNY)

Penny is doing great in her new home.

Another happy tail!

Another rabbit ADOPTED!!!

Shayo, a rabbit brought into one of our affiliated vet clinics has been adopted by his foster family. Once a bun facing euthanasia for aggression, is now being described as a lap bun!!! His name has been changed to Shiloh and he is right at home in his new digs!!!

SHADOW ADOPTED (now BUDDY)

Shadow the dog found running around in Longueiul was not reported missing, or posted anywhere as lost has found a new forever home! His foster parents decided he was to special to give up. Even the resident cat has proven interested in him, she's not sure what too make of him yet but I'm confident they will become great friends! He's already making friends at the dog park, loving his walks and his new family. I'm happy too, as this family also happens to be in my family! My father and step-mother are the happy new puppy parents!!! Yay for Shadow... opps I mean BUDDY!!! Good luck little guy!

Delilah Adopted

Delilah was rescued from a feral cat population October 14th, and adopted November 8th. She is now enjoying her new indoor life style. She was never really a street cat in her eyes. This delecate little girl would have never made it on the streets. She is still adjusting to living with us humans but so far has gotten pretty comfortable with the overdose of affection. She is a little timid, but will a little back rub she comes right out of that shell! and oh boy can she puurr! She is one little ball of a lotta love and now has found someone to share it with!

Penguin Adopted

Penguin was rescued from the outdoors after being borne to a stray mother August 30th, and adopted November 10th. He was one of 15 stray kittens from the population we are trying to place. This little charmer is such a handsome little man. He is a little guy and much smaller than any of his siblings. If you have ever heard the expression "Lap Cat" then you know what i am talking about, this guy is the definition of a Lap Cat. Oh does he purrrrr, he purrs and purrs and... purrs. We are happy to say he has now beed adopted and sharing his abundance of love with his new home.

Piglet Adopted!

Last night i drove Piglet to her new home, this is a picture of her in the car on the way. Piglet, a one year old female pug, was given up to me on July 7th 2009 because of her shedding. She came to me petrified and overweight. The first few days I had her, she would not move, and just hid under my couch, or in my pile of clothes. She weighed a whooping 22.9lbs, I was able to get 4lbs off her in one month of my care. With Purina Over Weight Management and a lot of exercise. She bloomed into one of the sweetest dogs I have ever come across. Like any pug, she loves to play, and everything in life to her is a game. Her spirits always high, she can make you smile on any day with just her goofy personality. She loves to shower you head to toe in kisses, until you can no longer stand it. Everyone who met her instantly fell in love with her. Fostering her was a pleasure; she brought a lot of joy into my life while having her around. I loved her like my own, and will definitely miss having her around. But I know she has been placed in an amazing home. She will be unconditionally loved for the rest of her life and have all the attention she deserves (and demands for!). I am very happy to see her go into her new home, and I am excited for her, as this is the beginning of a long, amazing life with them.
